My Approach
Many people arrive to therapy carrying something that feels heavy, confusing, or unspoken. Sometimes it’s a story that has never been told out loud. Sometimes it’s a feeling that’s hard to name. Sometimes it’s a sense that life has become overwhelming, and you’re not sure where to begin.
I offer a calm, steady space to explore whatever you’re holding - gently, at your pace, without pressure or expectation. You don’t need to have the right words or a clear plan.
You simply come as you are, and together we make sense of what’s happening inside.
I work with individuals and couples/relationships, and sessions can take place inperson or online, depending on what feels most comfortable and accessible for you. Online appointments are available for adults and adolescents. Children’s sessions are in-person only, as younger clients engage best through play, creative activities, and face-to-face interaction.
I will draw on a variety of different approaches depending on what you’re dealing with.
Person-Centred Therapy (PCT)
Psychodynamic Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Existential Therapy
Shadow-Self / Inner Critic Work
Choice / Reality Therapy
Creative Therapy (Adults)
Play-Based Therapy
Mindfulness Therapy

How These Approaches Work Together
Therapy adapts to you - not the other way around.
I don’t use one single method for everyone. Instead, I integrate approaches depending on your specific presentations, developmental needs, comfort level, and what you’re dealing with.
Some people prefer practical tools.
Some prefer talking.
Some prefer creative or reflective work.
Children often need play.
Adolescents often need clarity and space.
Adults often need understanding, insight, and practical steps.
